Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool

February 21-23, 2017 under the requirements of the Vienna Convention on Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage an International insurance Survey was held at Kozloduy NPP (Bulgaria).
The previous insurance Surveys at the site took place in 2007 and in 2012.
February 09, 2017 in accordance with internal rules of RANI the meeting was held to elect new members of Association Board and the General Manager of RANI for another 3 years.
Board members were unanimously re-elected as follows: OJSC IC “Allianz”, OJSIC “VSK Insurance House”, OSAO “Ingosstrakh”, JSC IC "Rosgosstrakh", SJC “Sogaz”, PJSC “Energogarant”.
February 09, 2017 the meeting was held to hear final report of the General Manager of RANI, Mr. Pavel Rudenskiy, on RANI budget execution as well as special target programs implementation over a period of 2016. 
December 13-15, 2016 in accordance with the civil liability insurance contracts of FSUE Atomflot, the operating organization of nuclear facilities, a scheduled follow-up insurance Survey (IS) of Atomflot’s facilities was carried out by RANI inspectors.
November 15-17, 2016 the Baltic Shipyard, Ltd hosted the first insurance Survey at Floating nuclear co-generation plant (FNCP) “Akademik Lomonosov” , which was held by the experts of the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool and was aimed at assessing insurance risks during the process of commissioning before nuclear fuel loading. 
November 09, 2016 a follow up International insurance Survey at Balakovo NPP (Unit 1-4) took place to update insurance risks at NPP for NTPL and MD. The previous insurance Surveys at NPP took part in 2009, 2012, 2014.
November 01-03, 2016 an International Insurance Survey was held at Ningde NPP, situated in Fujian province, China. 
October 18-21, 2016 a scheduled International Insurance Survey was carried out to inspect the insured activities at Novovoronezh NPP. The previous Survey took place in 2014.
October 04-07, 2016 a scheduled International Insurance Survey was carried out to inspect the insured activities of Units and other facilities of Beloyarsk NPP.
The Seminar “Nuclear Power Industry, Insurance Surveys and New Risks” was held September 29, 2016 in the Conference Hall of SC SOGAZ. The event was arranged for RNIP members by RANI Technical department together with RNIP Technical committee.
September 07, 2016 at the meeting of RNIP, RNRP Supervisory Board, and RANI General Assembly taking into consideration a new appointment of Mr.Nikolay Galushin to the position of the President of the National Reinsurance Company it had been unanimously decided to approve Mr.A.Ustinov, a Chairman of SOGAZ Supervisory Board, to the position of a new Chairman of RNIP, RNRP Supervisory Board and RANI General Assembly.
September 07, 2016 at the meeting of RNIP, RNRP Supervisory Board, and RANI General Assembly taking into consideration the recommendations and approval of Legal Committee it had been decided to accept a new member of RANI, RNIP and RNRP – Zetta Insurance Company Ltd.
September 04-09, 2016, in Düsseldorf, Germany, Machinery Breakdown Seminar for nuclear engineers of the International Pooling System was organized by German Nuclear Insurance Pool (DKVG).
June 29, 2016 Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RNIP) arranged the first Internal Insurance Survey at the site of Stock Company State Research Center - Research Institute of Atomic Reactors (JSC “SSC RIAR”) located in Dimitrovgrad of Ulyanovsk region.
June 14-16, 2016 an annual international Seminar on “NPPs’ operating results” was held at Moscow Center of WANO and was arranged by WANO Moscow Center jointly with SC Concern Rosenergoatom.
June 14-16, 2016 an International Insurance Survey (IIS) of the insured activities was held at South-Ukraine NPP equipped with VVR-1000 type reactors (unit 1-V302, unit 2-V338, unit 3-V320). The previous International Insurance Surveys were arranged at this NPP in 2004, 2007 and 2013.
June 7-9, 2016 the experts of the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RNIP) performed the first International Insurance Survey (IIS) at the site of Chepetsk Mechanical Plant (ChMZ) in Glazov of Udmurt Republic.Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool, 2011
