An International Insurance Re-inspection was held at Hartlepool NPS on the 21-22 of January, 2014. NPS is situated at the coast of the North Sea, North East England.
December 12, 2013 at the meeting of RNIP, RNRP Supervisory Board, and RANI General Assembly taking into consideration the recommendations and approval of Legal Committee it had been decided to accept a new member of RANI, RNIP and RNRP – VTB Insurance, Limited.
December 09-11, 2013 during a visit to Moscow, Mr.M.Tetley (General Manager of "NRI Ltd." (UK NIP)) met with Mr.P.Rudenskiy (General Manager of RANI). Reinsurance Director of RANI, Mr.V.Korobkov, also participated in negotiations.
An Insurance Survey of nuclear-powered ice-breakers “Fiftieth Anniversary of Victory” and “Vaygach” was held on 02-05 December, 2013.
The International Nuclear Law Essentials (INLE) took place at the Heardquarters of the Organization for economic cooperation and development (OECD) in Paris, France, 21-25 October 2013.
The 3rd Nuclear Engineers’ Seminar and the Meeting of Engineering Sub-Committee took place on 15 – 17 October, 2013 in Glastonbury, Connecticut, USA, at the office of American Nuclear Insurers (ANI). The Seminar united technical specialists of 14 national nuclear insurance pools, specializing in conducting insurance surveys at nuclear sites.
International Insurance Re-inspections were held in October 2013 at Kursk NPP on 03-04 October, 2013 and at Kola NPP on 11 October, 2013
The Surveys were supervised by S.Babenko – Technical Director of the Russian Association of Nuclear Insurers (RANI) of the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RNIP). The Committee included representatives of Nuclear Risk Insurers Limited (NRI, UK), Nuclear Insurance Pool (NIP, Ukraine), the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RANI), and ROSENERGOATOM Group OJSC.
An International Insurance Survey at Kalinin NPP was held on 07-09 October, 2013 under the supervision of Sergey Babenko – Technical Director of the Russian Association of Nuclear Insurers (RANI) of the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RNIP). The Committee included representatives of Nuclear Risk Insurers Limited (NRI, UK), Assuratome (France), Nuclear Insurance Pool (NIP, Ukraine), Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RNIP, Russia), and ROSENERGOATOM Group OJSC.
A CEE Nuclear Pools’ Meeting 2013 was held in Varna, Bulgaria, 30 Septermber-03 October, 2013. The General Managers of Nuclear Insurance Pools of Central and Eastern Europe took part in the Meeting. The participants from Bulgarian, Czech, Hungarian, Russian and other Pools made their presentations.
Nuclear Liability Taskforce Meeting took place on 30 September 2013 at Insurance Europe’s offices in Brussels.
17 - 18 September 2013, an International Insurance Survey was held at Bilibino NPP under the supervision of S. Babenko - Technical Director of the Russian Association of Nuclear Insurers (RANI) of the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RNIP). The Committee included representatives of Nuclear Risk Insurers Limited (NRI), the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RANI), and ROSENERGOATOM Group OJSC.
The Comprehensive Emergency Response Exercise at Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) together with the Group emergency service to nuclear power plants (OPAS) on the subject: "The Radiological Accident at Kalinin NPP" has shown good results.
On the 7th August RANI signed a contract with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Russian Post" concerning the transfer and payment of the insurance money in case of a radiation accident. 
During the period from 8 till 12 July 2013 a commission of the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RNIP) under the supervision of the Deputy Technical Director of RNIP Babenko and the RANI inspectors, observers from JSC "SOGAZ" and SGIK Rosatom hold a scheduled survey of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Mayak" (hereinafter - "Mayak"), located in the closed region: Ozersk, Chelyabinsk, Russia.
11-13 June 2013, there was held an international insurance survey at Torness nuclear power plant (Torness NPP) in the UK, located on the North Sea coast near the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh.
During the period from 5-6 June there was held the Russian Insurance Summit 2013 organized by the All-Russian Insurance Association (ARIA). The conference was attended by representatives of the insurance business and the supervisory authorities of the SCO countries. There were chosen the most significant and relevant to the insurance market problems and challenges as the key issues for discussion.
15 - 18 April 2013 there was held an insurance survey of the coastal base and the atomic - Technology Services courts. The survey was led by S. Babenko - Deputy Technical Director of the Russian Association of the Nuclear Insurers (RANI) of the Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool (RNIP). The committee included representatives from RANI,from the insurance group "SOGAZ" and the General Inspectorate of the State Corporation "Rosatom".
26-28 March 2013, an international insurance survey was held at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant (Paks NPP), Hungary.There are four units with VVER-440 in operation, that were uprated to increase the capacity from 440 MWe to 500 MWe each.
27.28 04.05 February and March 2013 international insurance inspections of nuclear power plants (NPP) were held in Spain. Respectively, the inspections of the following NPP were held: Cofrentes NPP (Cofrentes NPP) and Trillo NPP (Trillo NPP).
From 11 to 14 February 2013 Commission RNIP (three RANI inspectors, observers from SOGAZ, SGIK Rosatom and the independent inspector RNIP Boris Nikipelov) held the planned insurance survey at the "Mining and Chemical Combine" located in Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory.Russian Nuclear Insurance Pool, 2011
