International Nuclear Law Essentials

The International Nuclear Law Essentials (INLE) took place at the Heardquarters of the Organization for economic cooperation and development (OECD) in Paris, France, 21-25 October 2013.

          INLE program was organized by Nuclear Energy Agency (supervised by OECD).

         Nuclear Energy Agency is aimed at providing support and assistance in further improvement of scientific, technological and legal basis for the safe, ecological and efficient use of nuclear energy all over the world.

Specialists in nuclear law covered the following issues during the conference:

• Nuclear safety and nuclear regulatory regimes

• Nuclear law

• Liability and compensations for nuclear damage

• Nuclear insurance

• Nuclear materials and fuel transportation

• Radioactive waste handling

• Economic and technical analysis of nuclear fuel cycle

• Public information

Russian Association of Nuclear Insurers was presented by Mr.Nikita Lukyanov, Finance manager.
