A CEE Nuclear Pools’ Meeting 2014 was held in Bratislava, Slovakia, 30 Septermber-01 October, 2014. The General Managers of Nuclear Insurance Pools of Central and Eastern Europe took part in the Meeting.
An International prescheduled Insurance Survey of insured activities of Units and equipment at Balakovo site was held on 04-08 August, 2014. The inspection was carried out under the supervision of Sergey Babenko – Technical director of RANI.
Regular Meeting of the General Purposes Committee (GPC) was held on the 12th of September, 2014 in Stockholm. Mr. Pavel Rudenskiy, General Manager of RANI, took part in the Meeting for the first time.
An international research and practical Seminar on Fire Protection of Nuclear Power Plants was held on 30 June – 04 July, 2014.
International Conference "Insurance and Reinsurance" was held on June 26-27, 2014 in Moscow. The main purpose of the event was to discuss current issues of insurance, as well as to focus on further development of the insurance in Russia, international cooperation and reinsurance.
On May 22, 2014 at the Ninth International Scientific and Technical Conference "Safety, Efficiency and Economics of Nuclear Power Industry" held in Moscow on May 21-23, 2014, Technical Director of the Russian Association of Nuclear Insurers, Sergey Babenko, spoke about the results of the first cycle of insurance inspections at the facilities of JSC "Concern "Rosenergoatom".
The IV International Legal Forum was held on 18-21 of June, 2014. Forum once again has become a unique platform for the development of cooperation in the fields of law, business, economics, science and exchange of opinions on a wide range of issues at the highest level.
On 10-14 of June, 2014 Mexico City hosted the International Nuclear Pools’ Forum. The leaders of national nuclear insurance pools from 26 countries participated in the event.
An Insurance Survey of nuclear-powered ice-breaker “Yamal”, Floating Maintenance Base “Imandra”, Floating dosimetry-control station “Rosta-1” was held on 24-27 March, 2014. It was the third inspection of “Atomflot” held within a year.
May 15 , 2014 at the meeting of RNIP, RNRP Supervisory Board, and RANI General Assembly it had been decided to accept the voluntary retirement of CJSC " GUTA-INSURANCE " from RNIP, RNRP and RANI membership.

Representatives of leading foreign nuclear insurance pools of UK, Switzerland, France as well as representatives of RANI and JSC “Concern “Rosenergoatom” visited Kalinin NPP in the period of March 17-20, 2014.
February 27-28, 2014 during a visit to Moscow, Mr.M.Dawson (General Manager of "NRI Ltd." (British NIP)) met with Mr.N.Galushin (Chairman of RNIP Supervisory Board, Chairman of RANI General Assembly) and with Mr.P.Rudenskiy (RANI General Manager).
On the 13 February, 2014 the meeting was held to hear final reports over a period of 2013.
