International Visit to Kalinin NPP

Representatives of leading foreign nuclear insurance pools of UK, Switzerland, France as well as representatives of RANI and JSC “Concern “Rosenergoatom” visited Kalinin NPP in the period of March 17-20, 2014.

The attendees participated in the Seminar on nuclear risks insurance and visited Kalinin NPP’s facilities.

The representatives of Insurance Pools discussed current issues of nuclear insurance within national and international insurance markets, got acquainted with the structure of JSC “Concern Rosenergoatom” and discussed opportunities for its further development, focused on International insurance surveys and arranging MD insurance for REA.

As a result the experts in nuclear insurance held negotiations, discussions on key issues, had the opportunity for exchanging experience and ideas.

All participants highly appreciated the efficiency of such events that promote further cooperation between JSC "Rosenergoatom", RNIP and international Pools on insurance and reinsurance of Russian NPPs.
