Conference «Safety, Efficiency and Economics of Nuclear Power Industry» (MNTK-2014)

On May 22, 2014 at the Ninth International Scientific and Technical Conference "Safety, Efficiency and Economics of Nuclear Power Industry" held in Moscow on May 21-23, 2014, Technical Director of the Russian Association of Nuclear Insurers, Sergey Babenko, spoke about the results of the first cycle of insurance inspections at the facilities of JSC "Concern "Rosenergoatom".

The presentation was made within Section 4 «International cooperation focused on ensuring NPPs safety» and was highly appreciated by nuclear specialists. Deputy Technical Director of RANI Anatoly Nikitin, and Deputy Technical Director of RANI Vladimir Vaschilo also attended the Conference.

JSC "Concern" Rosenergoatom" holds Conference "Safety, Efficiency and Economics of Nuclear Power Industry" annually in order to unite nuclear industry experts from different countries.

This year, the event was devoted to the 60th anniversary of the Global nuclear power industry. Its history starts on June 26, 1954 when the first (so called commercial) nuclear power plant - the Obninsk NPP was put into operation.
